Pollonia or Apollonia Village is a unique holiday choice and is the second port of Milos island. Starting point for the island of Kimolos since frequent ferry boats depart every hour but also other boats for excursion either visiting Kimolos or perform the tour of the island of Milos or follow unique exploring tours.

Pollonia is located on the northeastern side of Milos island and is 14 km from Plaka and 10 km from Adamas. Pollonia is a fishing village where in the early morning you can buy fresh fish from boats or buy it from fish shops.

The port of Pollonia has a parking space for many boats and sailboats while in the same area you will discover all kinds of shops, cafes and restaurants or fish taverns where you will enjoy the enchanting island landscape and environment.

To the left of the settlement, in the Lighthouse of Pelekouda, it is believed that there is the temple of Apollo from where the village got its name. Also, coming to Pollonia or Apollonia from Adamas you will find the ruins of the ancient city of Fylakopi as well as several beautiful beaches.
